Here Are The Anime Favorites This Season (According To You)

    Published on:

This season has been a good one for anime fans. While there is the usual chaff, the shows that stood out from the rest are quite good, so it’s totally understandable why they have become some of your anime favorites over the past couple of months.

We’ve run a poll with four of the anime favorites recently to see which one you really like, and after 1,300+ votes, here are the results!

The Elusive Samurai – 71 Votes

Either this or Wistoria: Wand and Sword would probably end up being the sleeper hit of the season, though to be completely honest, it gets a bit confusing at times – the premise and tone that sets the story in motion is quite serious, and some of the violence is graphic, but the main cast lean towards a bit on the light-hearted side (at least for now). That aside, the Elusive Samurai is a gorgeous and entertaining watch. Do give it a few episodes if you haven’t seen it yet.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest – 229 Votes

The “mainstream” entry of the series is well… a good one! After the original Fairy Tail series had ended, I thought we’d be putting the adventures of Natsu and the gang to rest because they had already faced the most powerful foes. However, just like it always has been in the world of Fairy Tail, there’s always something bigger, more difficult (and in the case of the 100 Years Quest, downright impossible), grander adventure to be had. I think this series is a more refined version of the old Fairy Tail formula, so if you’re a fan of the series back then, you’ll like this even more.

My Deer Friend Nokotan – 383 Votes

SHIKANOKO NOKONOKO KOSHITANTAN~ okay, if the first 10 seconds of the opening theme hadn’t hooked you in, Nokotan’s premise and the crazy first episode would definitely introduce you to the hilarity and madness of, in my humble opinion, the crown jewel of this anime season. But if you need some convincing, here’s the rundown. Torako Koshi was a former delinquent who’s now living the perfect girl image as the ideal student council president. Still, the random appearance of the deer-girl Nokotan and the chaos and insanity she brings to Torako’s daily life threaten to bring back her former delinquent habits and ruin her dignified image.

Ok, now go watch it; it might just be an easy inclusion in your anime favorites.

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian – 678 Votes

Alya is poised to become the season’s breakout hit, and it’s easy to see why. Each main character in Alya possesses a unique charm and a compelling backstory. The dynamic of Alya being unaware that Masachika can understand her occasional flirtatious remarks in Russian is a simple but effective hook to get you watching. As the series progresses, the focus shifts to the student council election drama, impacting each main cast member. Watching how they navigate their relationships while staying true to their goals is heartwarming, occasionally funny, and surprisingly compelling.
