Cosplay Mania 2024 is celebrating its 16th year with a new event called “Zenith in the Clouds.” This year, the event will take place at Halls 1-4 of SMX Convention Center for three days, starting October 4-6, 2024. The event will feature over a dozen international special guests, including those from Gundam Seed, Vocaloid, Hololive, Sword Art Online, Yu Gi Oh!, Digimon, and even The Simpsons.
The convention halls cover over 9000 square meters and offer anime and cosplay enthusiasts a paradise. More than 200 exhibits feature merchandise, apparel, artwork, and other popular collections, including exclusive items from Hololive, Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and more. Additionally, the event will host the Cosplay Mania Cup and Cosplay Karaoke Cup competitions with top prizes for the champions.
Cosplay Mania 2024 – Special Guests
Every year, Cosplay Mania is one of the most anticipated conventions. It always brings a fantastic lineup of guests who mesmerize the crowd with incredible talent and dedication. This year, they are thrilled to have Taryn from Italy, Byoru from Vietnam, and Lea from Malaysia as our cosplay sensations. They will be making special appearances on stage and hosting Meet-and-Greet sessions. Hiroto Kuramasu, the renowned producer of Japan’s famous Ikémen Series and a resident cosplayer, will surprise us with an appearance from Japan to introduce and share otome culture worldwide.
Vtuber fans will be excited to know that Hololive Indonesia’s “Secret Agent” Vestia Zeta and the “Ancient ‘Keris'” Anya Melfissa, along with the members of Holostars EN – ARMIS – including the mysterious puppeteer Octavio and the fierce Jurard T Rexford, will charm their fans during their appearance and Meet and Greet at the event.
Malaysian American voice actor Su Ling Chan is known for her amazing voice. She has showcased her voice acting skills in video games like Honkai: Star Rail as the “Healer Lady” Bailu, Cabernet in Path to Nowhere, and Mayday in No Straight Roads. She has also worked on popular animated series like The Simpsons, Disney Channel’s “BoBoiBoy,” Netflix’s Bread Barbershop, and animated films like New Gods: Yang Jian and the anime Kageki Shoujo.
Cosplay Mania 2024 – JAM Concert
This year’s JAM Concert has amazed everyone by the phenomenal performances of your favorite J-music artists. The famous Vocaloid composer and producer kz(livetune) started the event with electrifying beats behind Project Diva’s Tell Your World and other popular Hatsune Miku hits.
Japanese singer-songwriter Chiai Fujikawa has created various ending themes and soundtracks for popular animes such as “Kimi no Namae” from The Rising of The Shield Hero and Digimon Adventure.
BRADIO is a Japanese band known internationally for their lively and funky opening themes, such as Flyers from Death Parade, Yu Gi Oh Rush!, Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon, and Duel Masters. Get ready to enjoy a night of Dancehall Music with BRADIO!
Don’t miss the electrifying performance by the renowned Japanese band sajou no hana, celebrated for their powerful music featured in Mob Psycho 100 II, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon, and Sirius the Jaeger. Their intense and dynamic style promises an unforgettable experience!
