    Here’s What You Need To Know About Diablo IV: Vessel Of Hatred’s Live-Action Trailer

    The cinematic for Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred‘s live-action was unveiled today, showcasing Neyrelle’s adventure into Nahantu and her battle with the influence of the Soulstone. Jon Watts, renowned for his contribution to the Spider-Man films, directed the cinematic, and Camila Cabello performed the title song “Behind Blue Eyes.”

    Built Like A Blockbuster

    Jon Watts has gained recognition as a director for his contributions to the Spider-Man: Homecoming Trilogy for Marvel/Sony and the recent movie Wolfs for Sony/Apple. He has also been at the helm of the independent films Clown and Cop Car, both of which he directed and co-wrote. Furthermore, he is involved in the FX series The Old Man. Jon Watts is also collaborating on the creation, direction, and executive production of the upcoming Lucasfilm/Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Dianne, his dog, Donut, and his new puppy, Dottie.

    “I’ve been playing Diablo since I was a teen and know the world well, so when they asked me to direct the project, I was all in,” said Jon Watts.  Camila Cabello added, “I’m so excited to bring ‘Behind Blue Eyes’ to Sanctuary in a fresh, new way. We took the brilliant lyrics of the original song and transformed it with the dark tones of Diablo. Not only is this song a classic and a perfect representation of what Neyrelle is going through in Vessel of Hatred, but it’s also a song that so many can identify with. Working with the Diablo team was a legendary experience, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear how we’ve reimagined a classic.”  

    The Latest In The Neverending Crusade Against Hell

    Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo universe has been a significant force in video games since 1997, and Diablo IV is the latest installment in the series. It offers cross-platform play and will be available on various platforms. The first expansion, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, is set to launch on October 8, 2024, and will introduce the new region of Nahantu and the Spiritborn class. The expansion’s story revolves around finding Neyrelle and stopping Prime Evil Mephisto’s corruption.

    “Vessel of Hatred invites you to step into a world full of darkness and intrigue, and we are thrilled to have collaborated with such extraordinary talents to bring that world to life,” said Rod Fergusson, general manager of Diablo. “With Watts’ exceptional direction and Cabello’s evocative vocals, the release of this cinematic is a harbinger of the adventure to come in Diablo IV’s first expansion.”

    Camila Cabello is a highly successful Cuban-born singer, songwriter, actress, and activist. She has achieved numerous milestones in her career, including being the first Hispanic woman to reach RIAA Diamond status with her hit song “Havana.” Her debut album “Camila” debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, and her single “Señorita” with Shawn Mendes received a GRAMMY® nomination. Camila’s latest album, “C, XOXO,” showcases her evolution as an artist, featuring collaborations with renowned musicians.

    In addition to her music career, she has appeared as a coach on The Voice and made her acting debut as Cinderella in a feature film. Camila is also known for her advocacy work, including launching The Healing Justice Project and serving as an ambassador for Loreal.

    Vessel of Hatred will be available on October 8.
