Black Ops 6 Rewards – Progression System
The Progression system this time around is packing some heat in terms of rewards, and you surely don’t want to miss out on them. For a full rundown of everything, be sure to check out the Call of Duty Blog. Here’s a quick overview of what you can expect to unlock with the progression system:
Level Unlock: With 55 levels worth of unlockable weapons, equipment, and goodies to go through, earn XP in Multiplayer and Zombies as fast as you can.
Prestige: Yes, that’s right! Classic prestige is back and better than ever. In Black Ops 6, players will be offered the choice to reset their level upon reaching the max level 55. In exchange, they get the right to earn some prestige and exclusive rewards. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
Calling Cards: It wouldn’t be a Black Ops game without the opportunity to earn bragging rights over your friends. Compete in calling card challenges and unlock prestigious Calling cards for your profile and showcase. Players who go all in on the grind can even unlock the hidden “100 Percenter” calling card for maximum drip and bragging rights.
Weapon Camos: Who doesn’t like cosmetics in their favorite shooter game? This time around, the folks behind Black Ops 6 have given us a complete overhaul with the weapon camos, and they are worth the work it takes to progress through the different camos.
Mastery Badges and Medals: Medals are an age-old trophy system in Black Ops but Mastery badges are something we have never seen before for Call of Duty. Black Ops 6 introduces the new Mastery badge system, which looks promising. Every Weapon, Equipment, Field Upgrade, and Scorestreak in your Loadout has a set of Multiplayer and Zombies Mastery Badges to progress through as you master each piece of Gear. Use and Master each piece of content to unlock its Mastery Badge and Stat Tracker and prove your mettle by revealing your top three Badges in-game and in your Social Showcase.
We sure can’t wait to try out Black Ops 6 when it drops this weekend. While Treyarch has their work cut out for them trying to steal back the limelight as the ultimate FPS game, Black Ops 6 shows a lot of promise. Can they outdo the success of games like Valorant, Overwatch, or even Deadlock? We’ll know the answer comes this weekend when the game officially drops!
