    Heavy is the Crown

When you do as well as Arcane has, expectations are always going to be heavy. Season 1 was critically acclaimed and beloved by all who experienced it. Going into Arcane Season 2, many fans felt both excitement and apprehension.

The usual trend of beautifully done shows is that the first season hits it out of the ballpark. The second season makes you question why you even bothered waiting. Arcane Season 2 manages to meet all expectations and then some. Act 1 opened with a banger of an opening sequence and carries it all the way to Act 2. Not once have they dropped the baton in this run.

This is What You Asked For

I find myself at a genuine loss for words after watching Act 2. Not only have they managed to reel you in deeper, but this show has given me something I rarely feel for a show. The show has inexplicably made me grow attached to the characters and the storyline. I oftentimes find myself dropping a show or a book just because of how cliche everything gets but not this time. Arcane has taken characters I already knew from League of Legends and have turned them into complex individuals far removed from the established lore.

To watch their paths converge and clash on screen has been nothing short of breathtaking. for the entirety of Act 2, I have never once left the edge of my seat. I was constantly eyeing each character and every interaction, waiting on bated breath to see what would unfold. Every moment was rich with anticipation and I found it hard to tear my eyes away. I feared that if I so much as blinked, I’d have missed being in the moment.

    Try to Hold it In

Honestly, I found myself with more questions and feelings of confusion after the end of Act 2. This is to say that it’s not a bad thing. I want to know how everything resolves and I’m sure you will too once you watch it. The ending of Act 2 left me with so many inquiries and none of the answers that it’s left me wanting more.

At the end of the day, Act 2 needs only hold your attention for a moment. In that moment, it will take you on an experience unlike anything you have had with Arcane thus far. It will place you on the edge of your seat and that is where it will leave you; from start to finish.

Should you watch Arcane Season 2 Act 2? Absolutely! By all means, watch it. I personally cannot wait to see how things will play out in Act 3.
