With the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 less than 17 days away, fans were given another look at the upcoming game, with the Launch Trailer dropping hours ago. From solid shooting gameplay to a gritty and dark story laced with controversy, Black Ops 6 might just be the most heavily anticipated Call of Duty game in a long time. We’re going to break down the trailer in this article, so if you haven’t watched it yet, we suggest you watch it first and come back when you’re done!
Snapback to the past
From what we gather, Black Ops 6 appears to be set in the 1990s, a little after the events of Black Ops Cold War. While not much is known about how the story will go, the trailer provides us with enough action-packed scenes to know that it will be exciting nonetheless! A keen eye will also see that there are much larger plot points to discover for those excited to continue the storyline. Key things to note from the trailer include the return of both Frank Woods and Russell Adler, the possible involvement of Saddam Hussein in the story, and more exposition on the mysterious group Pantheon.
Blockbuster Gameplay
There are a lot of scenes in the trailer that you could easily miss, but one thing is evident. This game is going to be chock full of high-octane, heart-thumping missions that are bound to excite any gamer out there.
While still relatively ambiguous, players can expect to play through an intense story campaign and will possibly experience more flashback missions like those in Black Ops 2. The campaign is not the only exciting part of the game players can look forward to, however. Multiplayer looks to be just as anticipated, with a diverse range of maps to play on and possibly new guns and weapons to use. It’s confirmed as well that the ever-popular Zombies mode is making a return, and fans will be happy to hear that it’s as brutal and epic as ever.
If the trailer indicates how the game is going to feel, then players will be happy to know that Black Ops 6 is quite possibly going to be the best Call of Duty game in a long time. With action-packed gameplay bound to get your heart racing, an intriguing continuation of the Black Ops 2 storyline, and a Zombies mode, Black Ops 6 is one you won’t want to miss!
