What Will The Ninja Turtles X Naruto Crossover Be About?
The story begins with a secretive rendezvous between the young journalist April O’Neil and Tsunade, the venerable leader of the Hidden Leaf Village. This encounter captures the attention of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi. Meanwhile, the sinister Foot Clan becomes interested in April’s visit, believing she might hold critical information about mutation research conducted by scientist Baxter Stockman. Caught in the crossfire, April becomes embroiled in a conflict between the Hidden Leaf Village and the Foot Clan. It’s only a matter of time before the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rush to her aid!
When The Ninja Turtles X Naruto Crossover Likely Happened
Based on the synopsis, the Ninja Turtles X Naruto crossover is likely set after Tsunade became the 6th Hokage but before Naruto and Sasuke’s fateful confrontation at the hospital, which resulted in the latter leaving during the Sound Four invasion. This would place it before the anime-only Land of Tea escort mission that the team embarks on after Kakashi and Sasuke recover from their encounter with Itachi. Since this occurs at that point in the timeline, Naruto and Sasuke would have just mastered their signature moves – the Rasengan and Chidori, respectively. So, we may get to see these iconic techniques in action!
Teenage Mutant Ninja… What?
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are beloved characters from the 90s, initially popular as a comic and later adapted into an animated series. The story revolves around four turtles exposed to radioactive material, transforming them into humanoid turtle figures. They are trained in the art of ninjutsu by their mentor and father figure, Splinter. The turtles, named after Renaissance artists – Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Raphael, and Donatello, use their ninja skills to combat crime. They gain human allies such as April O’Neil and Casey Jones throughout their adventures. This unique blend of action, humor, and memorable characters captivated a generation of viewers.

Naruto emerged as one of the most beloved manga and anime series of the 2000s. The narrative revolves around Naruto, a young ninja from the hidden leaf village, who harbors ambitions of becoming the village leader known as the Hokage. Despite his aspirations, he faces alienation from much of the village and must demonstrate his worth as a ninja at the academy. His journey ultimately leads him to be part of Team 7 alongside Sasuke, Sakura, and their mentor, Kakashi, who is also prominently featured in the crossover.
