The Flesh and Blood Trading Card Game has come a long way from its days as a Kickstarter pitch and has solidified itself as one of the top card games in the world. This November, it is celebrating its 5th anniversary, and it had some BIG announcements to go along with it that we’re very excited about!

IRA. IS. BACK.

Ira is the very first Hero in Flesh and Blood, and her Young version – the one with only 20 health used in Blitz and Commone formats- has been featured in the game’s demo decks given to new players. Despite being a simple, straightforward Hero, she has proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the Blitz format. She graduated into Living Legend status (and thus, unable to be used anymore) last year.

So it was a huge surprise when Legend Story Studios, the makers of Flesh and Blood, revealed the one thing that a lot of Ira’s fans have been clamoring for all these years – her Adult version – the one with 40 health and can be used in Classic Constructed, the game’s premier competitive format!

This is because, for the longest time, Ira’s simple ability to give her second attack +1 is believed to be very powerful in Classic Constructed because it translates to a LOT of value because of the longer games. She could easily have been the strongest hero in that format. Today, though, the game has undergone many changes, and the overall power of most of the Heroes has gone up to the point that LSS thought it was safe to release the iconic Ninja in her adult form.

The fun doesn’t here, however, as along with her release, LSS has revealed a very special Souvenir Package containing a LOT of beautiful, limited edition Ira stuff that’s only available for those who are making the trip to the upcoming World Championship in Japan from October 31 to November 3. These include the Japanese-exclusive version of Ira, complete with amazing art, and its playmat and card sleeves counterpart. The package includes Japanese-exclusive versions of 3 other beloved Heroes – Dorinthea, Nuu, and Viserai, a Japanese Heavy Hitters Booster Box, and the World Championship exclusive deck box.

However, those who want Ira without any of the bells and whistles could opt to join one of the Ira, Scarlet Revenger events happening throughout the World Championship weekend. Also, on November 2, she will be LEGAL for play, meaning you can use her immediately at the Calling Osaka tournament!

However, those who can’t make it to Japan can get the beloved Scarlet Revenger via the 5th Anniversary Celebration Events held at their local game stores during World Championship week.
