Everything You Need To Know About “The Hunted” – Flesh and Blood TCG’s Upcoming Set

    Published on:

On January 31, 2025, Flesh and Blood TCG players worldwide will embark on a new journey with The Hunted, the game’s 15th expansion. This set shifts its focus to two of the Dracai, high-ranking officers of the Draconic loyalist army, who seek retribution following the fall of their Emperor. As they tread across the scorched lands of Volcor, their mission is clear: to hunt down those responsible and restore honor to their homeland. However, the path is fraught with peril, as ominous figures and hidden threats lie in wait at every turn.

    New Mechanics: “Marked” and “Fealty”

The Hunted introduces two mechanics designed to add layers of strategic depth to FaB’s gameplay. The first, “Marked,” empowers certain attack actions when targeting heroes that carry this debuff.

The second mechanic, “Fealty,” allows loyal characters to turn their attacks into Draconic ones in a show of unwavering allegiance to the Emperor.

    Expansive New Cards and Marvels

The expansion will offer cards across three main classes: Ninja, Warrior, and Assassin. Each class provides unique tactics and strategies, enhancing gameplay diversity and flexibility. The Hunted will include a range of common and rare cards, although most of these will remain undisclosed until the set’s official World Premiere. Preview season, scheduled from January 14-17, will reveal only high-rarity cards, building anticipation and intrigue as players get their first glimpses of the expansion’s potent new tools.

Marvel cards, known for their stunning art, return with this set. These cards are expected to showcase fresh, intricate designs, drawing players into the rich world of Flesh and Blood TCG. Each Marvel promises to be a sought-after collectible, appealing to seasoned players and new enthusiasts.

    Key Events and Dates

In the lead-up to its release, The Hunted will feature several major events, starting with the World Premiere in Prague on January 17. Held at PVA EXPO PRAHA, this event gives players a unique opportunity to explore the expansion through an exclusive eight-pack draft. Alongside the Premiere, players can join in the Calling: Prague, where they’ll compete in a high-stakes tournament featuring Sealed Deck and Booster Draft formats from The Hunted. With $20,000 in prizes, the event promises to draw competitive players eager to test their skills with the new set.

The World Premiere also offers participants a commemorative card, Arakni, 5L!p3d 7hRu 7h3 cR4X, and exclusive event merchandise. The weekend will feature cosplayers, special guests, and a schedule filled with competitive and casual events, making it a notable gathering for fans of the game.

Following the World Premiere, local pre-release events will take place in over 1,400 game stores globally from January 24 through February 2. These events allow players to experience The Hunted in a more intimate setting, allowing fans worldwide to connect with their local FaB communities and get hands-on experience with the new cards before the official release.

    The Hunted Approaches

The storyline of The Hunted taps into Flesh and Blood TCG’s ongoing narrative of loyalty, retribution, and power, giving players a chance to immerse themselves in the world of Volcor. The choice of the Dracai as somewhat the “protagonists” of this set adds a darker, vengeance-driven edge, with the volatile plains of Volcor serving as a fitting backdrop for the conflicts that unfold. Most of all, the Ninja, Warrior, and Assassin classes will be getting some much-needed upgrades, further diversifying the strategic approaches available to players.
