After 12 long years, we finally have an update to the Grand Theft Auto franchise. That’s right, players can now receive a free copy of the GTA V update on PC. What? Grand Theft Auto VI isn’t out yet, so this is the next best thing!
For a while now, the updated and enhanced GTA V was previously only available on consoles. With the latest update, PC users can now feel the modernized and optimized version of GTA V. You don’t even have to worry about shelling out any coin because this update is completely free. Plus, it comes with the guarantee of migrating all your progress. If you’re looking to pick up GTA V for the PC, you’ll automatically get the enhanced version right away.
Improved Online Features
The game gets a fresh coat of paint and so do your vehicles with the new update. You’ll have the option to use chameleon paints and cool new mods at Hao’s Special Works. On top of that, there are brand new cars in the game. That’s right, the upgrade brings with it 5 newly added vehicles. The Pegassi Weaponized Ignus and Coil Cyclone II supercars, the Karin S95 sports car, the Imponte Arbiter GT muscle car, and the Pfister Astron Custom SUV.
These new rides will be available in GTA Online and are now available for tuning from HSW. Plus, there’s an extra special gift for GTA+ Members. You can claim a Principe Deveste Eight (Super) for free through May 28 as part of a special Classics Collection to commemorate GTA+ arriving on PC.
If you’re into wildlife, you’re in for a treat! You can now explore the animal ecosystem with Ambient Animals encounters and even join the daily Wildlife Photography Challenge, thanks to the LS Tourist Board at Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.
On top of that, the revamped Landing Page makes it super easy for seasoned PC players to dive right into the action. For newcomers, the improved intro flow includes the Career Builder, which kicks things off with a huge GTA$4,000,000 boost. You can pick from four starter criminal career paths and hit the ground running. Plus, the Career Progress feature lets you keep track of your progress across all GTA Online updates while unlocking exclusive rewards along the way!
Up to Date with All the Action
If you we’re wondering, don’t worry! Both the original and upgraded version will still have access to the numerous online updates. That includes the new Oscar Guzman Flies Again update where you’ll take control of the historic McKenzie Field Hangar in Grapeseed as a new branch of your arms trafficking business, complete with new missions, new aircraft, and more.
