Are you ready to make a name for yourself and win big prizes at the same time? Well, you’re in luck! It’s time once again for Gold Rush 2024. The highly anticipated event of 2022 is back and bigger than ever! This time around, Ludus Distributors is proud to present Gold rush for five different Games. That’s right, there will be special events for Magic: The Gathering, Flesh and Blood, Altered TCG, Marvel Crisis Protocol, and Conquest. Here are the details!
Please note that all Gold Rush events are capped at a specific number of players so register at the links below before it’s too late!
The event proper will take place over the course of two whole days. It’s scheduled for December 14 and December 15. The Venue for this event is at Bayanihan Center, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.
Magic: The Gathering
Magic: the Gathering will have three formats available for this year’s Gold Rush event. Players can choose to compete in the Modern format on Day 1, December 14, 2025 and the Pauper and Standard format on Day 2, December 15, 2025.
Now, I know you’re all curious about the prizes. The prizing structure this time around is sure to get you hyped for this year’s Gold Rush. The prizing goes as such:
For Modern and Pauper,
1st: 40,000
2nd: 20,000
3rd-4th: 10,000 each
5th-8th: 3,000 each
9th-32nd: 6 Foundations play booster pack each
33rd-64th: 3 Foundations play booster pack each
65th-128th: 2 Foundations play booster pack each
For Standard,
1st: 20,000
2nd: 10,000
3rd-4th: 2500 each
5th-8th: 1500 each
9th-32nd: 4 Foundations Play Booster packs each
33rd-64th: 2 Foundations Play Booster packs each
All the events mentioned above will cut to Top 8 and will have raffles done every swiss round! You can sign up for Magic: the Gathering Gold Rush here.
Flesh and Blood
There are two formats for Flesh and Blood during Gold Rush. Classic Constructed on December 14 and Blitz for December 15. Both of these events are classified as ProQuest+ so be sure to bring your A-game!
The Prizing structure for both Blitz and Classic Constructed is as follows:
1st: 1x PTI, 1x Random Drop Gold Foil Card, 1 Random RF Hero, 1x Playmat, 1 ROS Booster Box
2nd: 1 Random RF Hero, 1x Playmat, 1 ROS Booster Box
3rd-4th: 1 Random RF Hero each, 1 ROS Booster Box
5th-8th: 1 Random RF Hero each, 1 ROS Booster Box
9th-32nd: 5 ROS Booster Pack
33rd-64th: 4 ROS Booster Pack
65th-128th: 3 ROS Booster Pack
Once again, both events will be swiss events with a cut to Top 8. There will be raffles in between swiss rounds. You can sign up for Flesh and Blood ProQuest+ at this link.
Altered TCG
One of the newer games to be included in the Gold Rush event is Altered TCG. The format for this event is Standard Constructed with Best of 3. It will be held on Day 2 of Gold Rush, December 15.
The Prizing Structure for Altered TCG is:
1st: 1 Kickstarter Edition Booster Box
2nd 1 Regular Edition Booster Box
3rd-4th 24 Regular Edition booster packs each
5-8th- 10 Regular Edition Booster packs each
9-16th- 4 Regular Edition Booster packs each
17th-32nd 2 Regular Edition Booster packs each
Just like Magic: the Gathering and Flesh and Blood, the event for Altered TCG will be a swiss event with a cut to top 8. You can check out this link for more details and to register!
Marvel Crisis Protocol
You don’t think Ludus forgot about you tabletop miniature players, did you? Well, Ludus is proud to present the first Marvel Crisis Protocol Grand Tournament in the Philippines! The Grand Tournament will be held on December 14, 2024.

Last but not least is Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings. while we still don’t have a lot details released regarding the event, ready those armies and prepare for epic battles on December 15! The format for the event will be First Blood so be prepared for fast paced, high-intensity skirmishes. Watch this space for more details!
