    Over 800,000 Peso Prize Pool at Stake at the MTG SEA Championships!

    Magic the Gathering continues to be one of the strongest TCGs in the Philippines and is once again proud to host a premiere event, the Southeast Asia Championships. With a $15,000 prize pool and numerous side events, promos, playmats, and other goodies, any MTG player would be glad to participate in this event. The 3rd round of SEA Championships will be held from May 31 to June 2 in Manila, alongside a Last Chance Qualifier, Philippine Open, and a qualifier for the next round of SEA Championships.

    The SEA Championships, an exclusive invitation-only tournament, brings together the champions of Regional Qualifiers in the season to compete in the current Standard format over 8 rounds of Swiss. If you still need to qualify for the SEA Championships, don’t worry. The first day of the weekend is dedicated to a Last Chance Qualifier, where everyone has a shot. Sixteen players will battle it out in single-elimination rounds until a champion emerges, earning a coveted slot at the next day’s SEA Championships.

    Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a casual player, the SEA Championships weekend is for you. The weekend will be packed with side events for competitive and casual players and the Philippine Open. This Modern format tournament has a $5,000 prize pool and an invitation to the next round of the SEA Championships. The SEA Championships weekend promises to be a festival of Magic for all players, regardless of their skill level.

    Players can avail of multiple prizes throughout the weekend. Participation promos, playmats, and other goodies will be available for players, so make sure to bring your A-game and try to snag a place in the top 32!
