The Most Important Mobile Legends Role (According To You) And How They Actually Are In Reality

    Published on:

Way, WAAAAY back in May, we made a poll asking our audience what the most important Mobile Legends Role is for them. Roles are important in the game because not only do they define the playstyle of each Hero, but they also play a factor in the balance of a team. Too many heroes in one role can be a weakness and can lead to a quick defeat. Still, some roles are prioritized more than others, and according to you, they are…

    Poll Results:

    But Wait, There’s More…

Despite the results, though, let’s not delulu ourselves into thinking that players who voted for these roles as the most important actually play them well. While we’ll briefly review how important each role is in theory, we’ll also inject a little dose of reality at the end to remind ourselves of how, outside of professional esports play, ML is a game of disastrous teamwork, miscommunication, accidental wins, one-sided losses, and we love it all the more for it. If these don’t apply to you, well… sige na ‘kaw na malakas!

The Most Important Mobile Legends Role – Tank

Two bleeping thousand one hundred votes. Wow.

Tanks in Mobile Legends are durable front-line attackers who lead the charge and protect teammates. They absorb damage, disrupt enemy formations, and provide crucial support.

    In Reality:

Tanks are impatient players who just wanna dive in and team fight all day regardless of their level or item discrepancy. This is actually genius because it’s a win-win situation. If they actually win, it’s because the Tank initiated the fight and is the real MVP. If they lose, they can kinda blame their teammates for leaving them behind and still pretend to be the real MVP. Because they tend to die a lot when starting bad clashes, Tanks are best for part-timers who can get some work done while they wait to revive.

The Most Important Mobile Legends Role – Fighter

Fighters are versatile close-range combatants, mixing offense and defense. They may lack the utility of tanks or the damage of assassins but gradually become a significant threat. With mobility, damage potential, crowd control, and resilience, fighters can serve as semi-tanks, crowd controllers, or hybrid tank-assassins. They excel in the game’s latter stages and can fulfill different strategic roles.

    In Reality:

Fighter players are mostly kids behind the phones, who want some fast, quick, early kills so they have an excuse to talk trash and type all the profanities they’ve learned from playing in the streets. Come to think of it, we all know some adults who are like that, too.

The Most Important Mobile Legends Role – Marksman

Marksmen rely on basic attacks for heavy damage from a distance. They’re great at taking down tough opponents and securing objectives. However, they have low durability and mobility, so it’s important to play it safe. They excel in dealing damage from a distance and shine in the late game.

    In Reality:

Nobody protects their Marksman because everyone is chasing after kills. The Marksman also chases after the kill, gets caught out of position, and dies, then whines about it on FB.

The Most Important Mobile Legends Role – Assassin

Assassins are agile and deadly heroes who excel at taking out vulnerable targets seeking to heal themselves. They rely on stealth, cunning, and speed to seize advantageous opportunities within battles. Regardless of the enemy’s numbers, assassins are masters of strategic positioning and precise, lethal strikes. They wait for the perfect moment to strike, making them a formidable force in the hands of skilled players. However, their low health and high damage output make them vulnerable to counterattacks if they misjudge their timing and positioning.

    In Reality:

Unlike Tanks, they’re the ideal role for people with full-time jobs since they DIE SO OFTEN from picking the wrong fights that all that downtime leads to productive work actually being done. Their team loses in the end, and their rank remains low, but hey, at least they get a promotion IRL.

The Most Important Mobile Legends Role – Support

Support players in gaming are crucial for aiding and protecting allies. They focus on shielding, healing, and absorbing damage to ensure their team’s survival. They typically team up with marksmen or accompany allies in different lanes and play a key role in securing victory.

    In Reality:

In the great tradition of old gaming culture, this role always gets forced on the person who reluctantly learned the game to babysit their (usually) Marksman partner as part of their quality time together. Often results in tampuhan if one or both of them are bad.

The Most Important Mobile Legends Role – Mage

Mages are powerful heroes with exceptional magical abilities, focusing on dealing magic damage and controlling crowds from a distance. They require protection from teammates in team battles due to their high magic power, extended cooldowns, and vulnerability.

    In Reality:
Most Mage players can’t really be bothered to learn the game. They just wanna press buttons, let the auto-target do its thing, and then check if they get any kills. You’ll see them AFK late game because they inherently know they’re useless at that point anyway.

    The Absolute Truth

    This person said it best.
