Computex 2024 is one of the largest tech expos this side of the globe, and the team was pumped to be in Taiwan for the event! We got the chance to roam the exhibition halls, scouring for the latest tech and gadgets soon to be on the market. We saw big names like ASUS, Acer, MSI, and a bunch of others showcasing their innovations and improvements to the tech and gaming world. Here’s our Computex 2024 Breakdown.
The headline of our Computex experience was none other than ASUS’ AI-powered laptops under the Copilot+ AI. The Always Incredible launch event felt like Stark Expo to us! We got exclusive looks at the powers of AI through the ProArt, Zenbook, and TUF gaming series laptops. Each laptop caters to professional creators with impressive features like state-of-the-art GPUs and processors, all while being compact and portable.
Creativity knows no bounds with the ProArt series, allowing users to bring their portable and durable devices with them in any environment. With the help of AI, the screen is constantly color-corrected against different lighting situations to ensure that you see the same tones under different lights. Editing becomes a breeze with Copilot+’s help, giving you a buddy to bounce ideas off of and create meaningful brainstorming sessions. Zenbook and TUF are both also streamlined for portability and durability, with TUF being one of the compact gaming laptops on the market. Copilot+ serves as your helpful assistant both in real life and in-game, making tracking tasks and statistics that much easier. With these laptops from ASUS, you can be more equipped than ever to tackle any task.
ASUS’ Project Dali outdates stickers by a mile. The E-Ink customizable rear lid lets you create a design on your laptop, then instantly process and display it to be your new laptop background. It takes just a couple of seconds after making the design for it to appear on the sleek rear lid with a stunning chrome finish.
We couldn’t help but double back a bunch to MSI’s latest handheld gaming device, the Claw A1M! This powerful handheld device was up for trial on the Computex floor, and we got to try a few rounds of Street Fighter 6 with it. The device sits comfortably in your hands, with nicely sized grips and buttons placed around the beautiful 7-inch screen. There was also an exclusive Fallout edition that we got to see running Fallout 4 smoothly, showcasing the power of the handheld.
AData also came out with a new handheld featuring a tilting screen, something we didn’t know we wanted until we had it in our hands! Sit back and relax with the XPG NIA’s superior ergonomic design, letting you game in luxury. The screen has just the right amount of tilt to keep your neck relaxed while chilling on the couch or in bed. We had a great time testing the prototype and are excited to see what other features and specs it brings with the final product.
Mobile streamers rejoice! We found a streaming deck and capture card that fits in the palm of your hand. Computex 2024 had so much to offer that even the entire week we spent going around wasn’t enough to cover everything.
